Meanwhile, scientists are preparing for Wi-Fi 7. It is said that this new technology of Wi-Fi will greatly increase the speed of internet. Similarly, WiFi connection will be more reliable and the distance of WiFi web is also said to be very wide.

Like 5G, Wi-Fi 7 will reduce latency in live streaming and gaming. Latency refers to the time taken by the signal to travel from the router or access point to your device and from the device to the router.

The new 320 MHz channels of Wi-Fi 7 are said to give significant speed to Wi-Fi 6 and its seven 160 MHz channels. However, not every device may support these wide channels. Wi-Fi 7 will increase the number of special streams to 16.

Intel estimates that this Wi-Fi technology will provide a maximum data rate of up to 46 Gbps, which is five times more than the Wi-Fi 6.

The Wi-Fi 7's high speed, low latency and improved interface handling capabilities are expected to put it far ahead. But for general purposes it may not be very useful to the user. New technologies such as AR / VR and game streaming will be able to take advantage of low latency and stable connection through Wi-Fi 7.

Recently, technologies like Metaverse, AR Virtual Reality have become very popular. Which requires a strong and low latency network. That being the case, it has been discussed that there will be no alternative to Wi-fi 7.

Recently, the American chip maker Qualcomm has also started the work of making the required chip for Wi-Fi 7. According to the company, the Wi-Fi 7 will provide double speed and coverage compared to the Wi-Fi 6. Not only that, the latency of the Wi-Fi 7 is also claimed to be more effective as it has uniformity.

Accordingly, it is said that it is working on making the necessary chip for Wi-Fi 6 to make it available to the customers in 2023. Earlier, Media Tech had said that it would have built the required chip for Wi-Fi 7 by 2023. It has not been a long time since Wi-Fi 6 started trading in the global market.

While having talk of Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6 seems does not bode well for the future.
