Meta is going to add a new feature for Instagram users. Now Instagram users
Prior to this, only direct messages or emoji reactions could be sent to stories. But the reaction sent to the story would come in the inbox. Now you can also send likes to other people's stories. This feature is said to be available to all users.
Once this feature is available, the place to respond to the story will be a heart-shaped icon between the now visible message typing box and the send icon.
The company says it is updating the feature to make user interactions more interesting.
