CAN INFOTECH TICKET FOR RS 1, ALSO BE VIEWED ONLINE
The 27th edition of CAN Infotech can be viewed for just Rs 1. In order to raise awareness about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Nepal, the ticket price for CAN Infotech 2022 has been fixed at Rs 1. This time also the ticket of Infotech will be paperless. Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation is organizing CAN Infotech from February 1 to 6, 2022 at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu. According to the federation, preparations have been made to held this year's CAN Infotech in both physical and virtual formats. This is the 27th edition of CAN Infotech, which is being organized annually with the objective of interacting for the development of new technologies in the field of Information and Communication Technology and for the development of policies, strategies and legal framework required for the development of this sector.
The 27th edition of Infotech was set from 28th of April to 2nd of June. But the second wave of Covid-19 has spread to major cities of the country including Kathmandu Valley. In view of the subsequent decisions, consultations with CAN Infotech's sponsors, exhibitors, collaborators and stakeholders and the decision of the Central Working Committee of CAN, Infotech was postponed until further notice.

The CAN Federation expects that the annual exhibition and conference related to Information and Communication Technology and Entertainment in Nepal will be the largest trade show in the country and its organization will provide relief and assistance to all the information and communication technology related businessmen and concerned parties affected by COVID-19.
The Information and Communication Technology Exhibition will be attended by CAN member organizations as well as various national and international information and communication technology companies. In this regard, booking for CAN Infotech 2022 will be open from Tuesday the 28th of December. As the 26th edition of CAN Infotech has been viewed by around 3.5 million people, the federation expects the same number of observers to come in this edition as well.
