THE TRUECALLER APP WILL BE PRE-INSTALLED ON ANDROID PHONES

The Caller ID app TrueCaller has teamed up with world-renowned Android phone companies to make their app the default app on newer Android phones.

This means that Android users will no longer have to download the TrueCaller app on their mobile phones. However, it is up to the user to decide whether to use this app or not. The company says that user can enable the app only if they want to use it.

For now company did not say which brands of mobiles have this app available as default, but it is said that the app will be available in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Latin America and other countries. The company says it plans to offer built-in TrueCaller on about 100 million Android devices.

Truecaller, started by two Swedish engineers, now has more than 300 million monthly active users worldwide.
