CYBER ATTACK ON OPENSEA'S PLATFORM, NFT THEFT WORTH MILLIONS

The hackers have stolen NFTs from the platform 'Opensea', which sells NFTs through phishing attacks. According to the company, the hackers stole NFTs worth $1.7 million through phishing attacks.

According to the company, 254 tokens of 32 users have been stolen. The hacker allegedly transferred the money by giving users access to their NFT by signing into a security risk payment system. The company said it is investigating the attacks.

The company said that the hackers took advantage of the process of upgrading the new system for contract (agreement) in Opensea, forcing the victims to sign fake contracts and gain access to their tokens. Therefore, the company has stated that this attack is definitely a phishing attack. Devin Finzer, the company's CEO, said in a tweet that the attack was not carried out from the Opensea.

Opensea is one of the most talked about and highly traded platforms in the NFT market.
