EL Slavadar is the only country in the world that has decided to legally accept Bitcoin in every transaction that takes place in the country. Bitcoin is also permitted by Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the UK.
Countries that have banned Bitcoin
While many countries around the world are permitting Bitcoin, some countries have banned it. Bitcoin has been banned in the context that it affects the country's economy. In addition, Bitcoin is banned, saying it promotes illegal trade, drug trafficking, money laundering and terrorism.
While banning, some countries banned completely and some have banned partially. Partial ban include Bahrain, Burundi, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Gabon, Georgia, Guyana, Kuwait, Lesotho, Libya, Macau, Maldives, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. Similarly, Algeria, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Nepal, Qatar and Tunisia are among the countries that have imposed complete ban.
