GOOGLE HAS MANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, HOW TO REMOVE IT?
Google is collecting more personal data than you can imagine. Google knows everything
from your search activity to what you see on YouTube. Whether it's Apple or Android. Google Maps will follow you wherever you go. Google Maps lets you know which way you are going, how long you are staying at the destination. Whether you open that app or not. You may be shocked to learn of its dire consequences. But don't worry, since June 2021 , your new Google Account will automatically delete your confidential data. But it will take 18 months. The system deletes your data by default 18 months after it was produced. But to use this feature of Google, you need to be a new Google or Gmail account user. If you're one of Google's old 1.5 billion Gmail users and 2.5 billion Android users, you won't be able to use this feature.
Google think such personal information as public
Google knows your name, face, date of birth, gender, email address, password and phone number; which google considered as public information (except passwords). You can make some changes to the settings to prevent Google from sharing this personal information with the rest of the world.
• To do this, open a browser window and go to the Google Accounts page.
• Type your Google username.
• Now go to the personal info of the menu bar and view all the information. From there you can change your photo, name, date of birth, gender, password and email as well as contact numbers.
• If you want to see what information Google is collecting and making public about you, go to Go to About Me.
• On this page, your information is labeled as a person's icon (anyone can see), a building icon (your organization can see) or a lock icon (not visible to anyone but you).
In this way, it is kept secret at various levels.
Online activities that google records
Google is recording your every online activity. You want control over your data. But if you want Google services like Search and Map to personalize your results, you can adjust the settings so that the data can be automatically deleted after three months. Another option is to delete all the data yourself and prevent yourself from being tracked.
• To do this, sign in to your Google Account and select Data & Personalization from the navigation bar.
• Now go to Activity Control and select Web & App Activity to view your online activity collected by Google. Here you will find all your Google Search, YouTube History, Google Assistant Command and other interactions with Google Apps.
• If you don't want Google to personalize your browsing experience, toggle it off. But if you disable it, various Google Assistant tools like Google Home, Google Nest, Smart Speaker and Display will become virtually unusable.
• If you do not want Google to track the Chrome browser and history of sites signed in using your Google Account, check the box below. If you do not want an audio recording of your interaction with Google Assistant, click on the second box.
• Don't be afraid if Google has the right to collect all this information. You have the option to auto-delete your information in three to 18 and 36 months. Click the time you like. Google will automatically delete it after a certain period of time.
• After selecting Auto Delete, you are asked to confirm or delete it. Confirm that.
• In the next step, click Manage Activities. In this headline, you can see the individual things under each of the above headings that Google has compiled. Which are kept according to the date. By scrolling through it you can reach the day the account was created.
• If you need to delete a special day, select the Trash Can icon. To the right of the date and select Got It. If you need to get more specific details and delete the individual items, select Three Stack dot and click Delete or Details.
• If you want to delete everything from history manually, select the Three Stack Dots icon in the search bar of the page and select Delete Activity By, then select Last Hour, Last Day, All Time or any other custom range.
• Now go back to Manage Activities to see the look of your new settings. And no matter how many have been deleted, make sure it was deleted only three months or 18 months ago.
Google also accesses your location history
When vacation time has started; where you are going probably not even known to your closer friends or relatives. But Google already knows. If you're signed in to Google Maps, you should keep in mind that Google's eye is always on you. Today we're going to show you how to access, manage and delete Google location data.
• Sign in with your Google Account and go to Data & Personalization.
• Select Location History after Activity Control to view location data collected by Google.
• If you do not want Google to track your location, turn off the toggle at the beginning.
• If you want to delete all the location history information collected by Google, select the Auto Delete option. You have the option to auto-delete your information in three to 18 or 36 months.
Click on the timeline you like. Google will automatically delete it after a certain period of time.
• After selecting Auto Delete, you are asked to confirm or delete it. Confirm that.
• Now click on Manage Activities. It contains all the information about your location map, route.
The cities, countries, places you visit, the malls, shopping, cultural and tourist areas within it are all kept. Besides this, at what time of the day, from what place to which vehicle you have reached is also recorded.
• To delete all location history permanently, click the Trash Can icon at the bottom right and select Delete Location History. If you want to delete one by one, delete by clicking on the three dot icon to the right of each one.
• Make sure all your data is cleared by clicking on Manage Activity through Activity Control.
Here's how to manage YouTube search and watch history
Google also tracks Watch History from your YouTube search. The same method mentioned above has to be adopted to manage it.
• To do this, sign in to your Google Account and select Data & Personalization.
• To view YouTube and Watch data collected by Google, select YouTube History in Activity Control.
• If you do not want your YouTube Watch History to be tracked by Google, turn the above toggle off first.
• If you want to delete all the information related to YouTube Watch History collected by Google, select the Auto Delete option. Here, too, you have the option to auto-delete your information in three to 18 or 36 months.
• After selecting Auto Delete, you will be asked to confirm or delete it. Confirm that.
• Now click Manage Activities. There you can see every video you watch.
• Click the Trash Can icon at the bottom right to permanently delete all YouTube history. Select the Three Stack Dots icon that appears on the page's search bar, select Delete Activity By, and select Last Hour, Last Day, All Time, or any other custom range.
• Make sure all of your YouTube Video Watch data is deleted on Manage Activity through Activity Control.
Other things to know about Google's privacy
Don't think that you are safe from Google by turning off all Google location trackers. This is because Google has publicly acknowledged that it is tracking your location from your phone's WiFi and other wireless signals.
Google also issued a press release in 2018 stating that no one can read your Gmail message. But Google has been acting contrary to its proclamation. Google has also publicly acknowledged scanning Gmail messages to integrate your sales list.
