YOUTUBE WORKING ON SMART DOWNLOAD FEATURE

YouTube is testing the Smart Download feature for its videos, just like YouTube Music. This feature is

being tested in the Android app.

This feature allows users to download videos automatically when the Android device is connected to WiFi. 20 videos can be downloaded automatically every week if connected to WiFi. Offline content can be found from the Downloads page or the Libraries tab. A similar feature is also available on YouTube Music.

This feature will be of great help in places where there is a low data plan or poor internet connection. This feature works on the latest version of Android. This feature is currently being tested by only a few users in Europe.
