OPERA BRINGS NEW CRYPTO BROWSER, MAKING IT EASIER TO TRADE CRYPTOCURRENCIES

Under the Crypto Browser project, Opera has unveiled a beta version of a new web browser, which users

can easily use for Web Three. Its beta version is available on all laptops, Macs and mobile devices under Windows, iOS and Android.

Under the scheme, Opera aims to use decentralized applications as well as facilitate game launches and metaverse platforms through cross-platform interaction. In 2018, Opera unveiled its first web browser with an in-built cryptocurrency wallet and basic web three support services. But the new version of the browser will take the crypto browser project to new heights, the company said in its blog.

Opera has introduced a built-in crypto wallet in its new browser in support of Ethereum. The built-in crypto wallet will be compatible with large blockchain platforms in the future. Opera is launching the wallet in collaboration with Polygon, Solana, Nervous Network and Cello Project. According to Opera, the browser will be integrated with Polygon in the first quarter of 2022.

According to the company, users can use the browser to purchase cryptocurrencies, exchange cryptocurrencies or even access NFT's gallery. The browser also supports the ERC-2 standard for creating tokens in the Ethereum blockchain and the ERC-721 standard for creating NFT.
